Lovebook Terms of Use

The rules for using Lovebook: your account, couple space, shared content, Premium subscription, and account deletion.

1. Scope and publisher

Aegis Techno, based in France, publishes Lovebook. These terms govern your use of the app and its services. For questions, email contact@aegis-techno.fr.
You can read these terms before using Lovebook and keep a copy. Google Play terms also apply to transactions on that platform, without reducing your statutory rights.

Lovebook is for people aged 18 or over, for personal use. You need a compatible device and an Internet connection to access online services. You are responsible for connection costs.
You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials confidential. Tell us if you discover unauthorised access to your account.

You can create a space and invite your partner through a link or code. You share this space with the person who accepts your invitation; send it only to your partner, with their agreement.
Lovebook provides a message vault, missions, and a journal for dates and outings. Some features require a partner connected to your space or a Premium subscription. The app presentation describes the free plan and its limits.
You choose which missions to take part in and respect your partner’s wishes. Lovebook suggests ways to show affection and does not provide medical or therapeutic support.

You keep your rights to messages, notes, and other content you add. You must have the rights and permissions needed to share them, including when they concern another person.
You grant Aegis Techno a non-exclusive permission to host, make technical copies of, and display your content to you and your partner to provide Lovebook. This permission is limited to operating the service and the retention periods described in the Privacy Policy; it does not permit advertising use of your content.
Your partner can read and keep the content you share. Respect their privacy and obtain their permission before sharing their messages or information about them outside your space.

You must not use Lovebook to harass, threaten, impersonate others, share unlawful content, or infringe other people’s rights or privacy.
You must not attempt to access another account or couple space without permission, bypass security or payment controls, or disrupt the service.
You can report abuse to contact@aegis-techno.fr with the details needed to review your report.

Premium unlocks the features listed in the offer for both members of the couple. One subscription is enough for that space. Available plans, prices, duration, and renewal terms appear in the app and on the Google Play confirmation screen before purchase.
Google Play processes payments. Unless the offer states otherwise, the subscription renews at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel renewal in Google Play under Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. You keep Premium access until the paid period ends, subject to the rules that apply to refunds.
Uninstalling Lovebook or deleting your account does not cancel your Google Play subscription. Cancel renewal in Google Play to avoid further charges. The “Restore purchases” option in Lovebook lets you request restoration of an eligible purchase.
For a refund request, use Google Play support or contact us with your order reference, without sending payment card details. Platform procedures do not limit your statutory rights.

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the conclusion of a distance contract, under the conditions set by law. To exercise it, send a clear statement to contact@aegis-techno.fr with your purchase date and reference. Starting the service early does not by itself remove this right; exceptions and any proportionate charges require the conditions and agreements set by law.
You benefit from the statutory conformity guarantee for digital services, including throughout the continuous supply period agreed in the contract. If the service is defective, contact us to request that we bring it into conformity free of charge. In the circumstances provided by law, you may obtain a price reduction or terminate the contract. Nothing in these terms excludes those guarantees.

The Lovebook Privacy Policy describes the data processed, its recipients, retention periods, and your rights.
You can delete your account in Profile through “Delete my account”, below “Sign out”. After two confirmations, you lose access to the account and Aegis Techno deletes data linked to your identity as described in the Privacy Policy.
Messages you wrote remain in your partner’s vault without your name or account identifier. If your partner also deletes their account, Aegis Techno deletes the shared space and its content.
If you can no longer access the app, email contact@aegis-techno.fr from the address associated with your account to request deletion. Remember to cancel your Google Play subscription separately.

Aegis Techno and its licensors retain their rights to Lovebook’s software, brand, and graphics. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive right to use the app under these terms.
You may not resell the app, copy its protected elements, or use its brand without permission, except where the law permits. Third-party component licences remain applicable.

Aegis Techno maintains Lovebook and provides updates required for its conformity and security. Install available updates to keep a compatible version.
Maintenance, outages, or connection problems may interrupt access. We take reasonable steps to restore the service. We remain responsible for our obligations under the law, including applicable consumer guarantees.
We will inform you of service changes that affect your access or use as required by law. Such changes do not reduce your rights to conformity or termination where they apply.

In the event of unlawful use, a serious breach of these terms, or a security threat, Aegis Techno may restrict or suspend access in a proportionate manner. We will email you the reason and how to challenge the decision, unless the law or a security emergency prevents this.
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or the law. We will inform you of material changes before they take effect. The date at the top of this page identifies the published version.

French law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections under the law of their country of residence. You may bring a claim before the courts with jurisdiction under the applicable legal rules.
