Business software takeover

Take over and improve your business software

Your company runs on an application or internal tool, but the person who built it is gone. We start with a one-day assessment: what works, what puts your business at risk and what to tackle first. Improvements follow, with a price and date set in advance.

Does this sound familiar?

  • The developer or agency that built your tool is gone.
  • Nobody really knows how the application works anymore.
  • Every change is a worry: nobody knows what it might break.
  • An exchange with a bank, a partner or another system is blocked.
  • A new regulation is coming and the tool has to keep up.
  • The tool is ageing and slows your teams down every day.

Pricing

Business software assessment

One day to review your tool, identify the risks to your business, set priorities and quote a first piece of work.

Business software assessment: €600, fixed price

Projects: quoted after scoping, with a fixed price and a firm date

VAT not applicable (French tax code, art. 293 B)

What the assessment covers

The assessment is written for a business owner, not an engineer. It explains what the state of your tool means for your business and in what order to act.

  • An overview of the tool: what it does, what it depends on, who can change it
  • Risks to your business, ranked by priority
  • Actions to take, from most to least urgent
  • A quote for a first piece of work, with a firm price and date

How we work

  1. 01

    One-day assessment

We examine the tool and talk with you about how it is used. Fixed price: €600.

  2. 02

    First fixed-price project

You decide whether to go ahead with the quoted work. If you do, it is delivered at the announced price and date.

  3. 03

    Delivery and acceptance

You check the result before signing it off. Each project leaves the tool better documented than before.

How we work

What’s agreed from the start.

  • Remote, autonomous work, without joining your team’s working hours.
  • A written progress update every week.
  • Short calls at the start or end of the day.
  • Calendar timelines set out during scoping.
  • No time-and-materials billing, no on-call, no guaranteed emergency support.

Examples of improvements

Regaining control

Understand, document and secure a tool nobody has a grip on anymore.

Connections with your partners

Restore or modernise exchanges with a bank, a supplier or another system.

Compliance

Adapt the tool to a new regulatory requirement.

Step-by-step modernisation

Replace the most fragile parts one project at a time, without rebuilding everything at once.

What you get

  • A clear picture of your tool’s condition, in one day
  • Risks to your business, ranked by priority
  • A quote for a first piece of work, with a firm price and date
  • A tool back under control and documented, project after project

Case study: Soluiob

Solvetys relies on Soluiob, its ERP for debt consolidation brokers. We took over the code, then modernised the exchanges with banks, supporting document management and automated tests.

Frequently asked questions

I’m not technical. Is that a problem?

No. The assessment and progress updates are written without jargon. We translate the technical state of the tool into consequences for your business.

Can you take over a tool you didn’t build?

Yes, that’s what this service is for. The assessment exists precisely to understand a tool built by someone else.

What do you need for the assessment?

Access to the tool and, if possible, to its code and documentation. If the code isn’t available, we discuss it before setting a date: it’s one of the risks to assess.

What does the next step cost?

The assessment costs €600, fixed price. It ends with a quote for a first piece of work, with a firm price and date. You then decide whether to go ahead.

Can you step in urgently if the tool breaks down?

No. We don’t offer on-call or guaranteed emergency support. We can, however, prioritise whatever is most likely to cause a breakdown in the first projects.

Does your business depend on a fragile tool?

Tell us about the tool and what worries you. We’ll suggest a date for the assessment.
